Our 30 meter (~98 feet) HDMI Active Optical Cable (AOC) transmits the HDMI (video and audio) signal over fiber optic strands to provide a thinner cable that can achieve longer distances. The IR Transmitter Kit Art. No. 38017 contains only one IR emitter. If you want to connect several HDMI signal sources, including changeover switches. you may need a second IR emitter in certain situations.
