Description

This Multimode OM2 ST 50/125 um fiber optic Splice-On Connector (SOC) is a factory-terminated and pre-polished connector designed to meet and exceed industry standards for loss and back reflection. Featuring a 3.0mm black boot this fiber optic SOC comes with a factory-cleaved 900um fiber stub to ensure ease of use and optimal performance.

The longer boot allows the entire splice to be concealed and protected. An additional brass crimp sleeve provides extra protection to the splice and utilizes Kevlar for maximum pull strength. Tubing insert to accommodate 1.6mm and 2.0mm in addition to the base 3.0mm cordage. Designed to work with many fusion splicers (cordage fiber holders & Universal SOC Oven is required).
