Platinum Tools Shielded Cat6 patch panel packs 24 ports into a 1U space and features a high strength frame for rigidity, built-in cable management. Each port features a shielded RJ45 to 110 type / Krone compatible punchdown on the back-end supporting both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. Supports solid or stranded wiring from 22 through 26 AWG.

Cat6 was developed to achieve maximum distance of 90 meters for up to 5-Gigabit network speeds. This robust spec will afford you the extra headroom across your network that Cat5e can not. The 250 Mhz performance is over double that of Category 5e. The extra performance is ideal for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications where data loss is audibly and visually seen and heard. Our Cat6 products are a complete end-to-end solution and are tested for compliance with all ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 specifications.
